Grievance Redressal Policy

Asma is committed to resolving customer and privacy concerns fairly and promptly, in line with applicable Indian law, including the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and ASMA’s privacy obligations under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and notified Rules as they become applicable.

1. How to raise a customer grievance

2. Privacy and data-rights requests

For access, correction, updating, erasure, withdrawal of consent, a privacy grievance or another data-protection request, use our Data Rights Request page or contact the Grievance Officer below. Please do not send passwords or full payment-card details.

4. Timelines

Consumer grievances will be acknowledged and addressed within the timelines required by applicable consumer law. Privacy and DPDP requests will be handled within the period required by applicable data-protection law and the Government of India’s notified commencement schedule.

5. What to include

Please provide your name, a contact method, relevant order or account reference if applicable, the type of request, and enough detail for us to identify the relevant records. We may take reasonable steps to verify identity before disclosing, correcting or erasing personal data.

6. Escalation

If a privacy grievance is not resolved through ASMA’s grievance mechanism, you may exercise any further remedy available under applicable law, including approaching the competent authority when the relevant statutory mechanism is in force.
